Sad

I got a very strange note card message yesterday, it said that someone on my friend's list had committed suicide. I am not sure what to think. The note card said it was from her sister who had logged on to her account to send out the message. My friend Franz knew her much better than I and was understandably quite upset.

I just don't know what to make of this. Is it real? I can not imagine someone staging this in this way, so I am thinking it is real. But then I am not sure. I hope it is not real, just a bad choice of a way to leave the world.

The only good that has come of this is seeing that Franz must have some good friends in Mikal Mikoyan, Jojo Mandel, Kyne Tigerpaw, and JC. I guess humans were made to connect with each other deep down inside.

Real Real Artists Doing Cool Things

Well Dear Readers I had a bad problem computer earlier this week and did not get to visit SL on the day before yesterday. I had to play computer doctor, but the patient lived. Yesterday Ricardito invited me to an artist place and I was real glad I went.

I like artists because they make stuff that you can look at but will also make things happen in your head. I don't know if you are supposed to say that because that doesn't sound like real art talk that you would say when you visit a museum or something. I hope people don't laugh at me when I try to write about art.

This group is called the Rezzable group I think. (I hope I got that right) I will have to write more and go back again. Last night I had dreams about the big tower like thing that I flew up into. It made me feel like a baby being born or something. I took a picture of me traveling in a bubble transporter.

Then Ricardito took me to where the Greenies live. Here is where it is.
The greenies must live in a house and must run around like mice. When you go into the house you go through a mouse hole, then you realize you are in a doll house. Suddenly you are in a GIANT house OR you are VERY SMALL. It feels just like Alice in Wonderland or something.

Well there is so much that I must write about but I will have to save it for later.

A Toxic Advenger Musical Catches My Interest

Yesterday started out sort of normal, Franz, Tree Ahat and I went shopping. Tree wanted to find a new shape and maybe a different look. Somehow we all got lost so I am not sure what Tree finally came up with.

Then I called to say hello to Ricardito Castaignede and he invited me to see what he has been working on. That's a picture of him (blue) and me in a very urban world he built. Now I should talk a bit about Ricardito. He is a blue faery sometimes. He has a really good eye for cool psychedelic colors and shapes and makes things that are very wild to experience. I have only met him recently but he is a lot of fun to talk with.

Ric (I hope he doesn't mind my shortening his name) has been working on a project to support a new Broadway play based on the B movie The Toxic Advenger. I never saw that cinematic gem but it sounds like a cool idea for a musical, why not? I will provide more info dear readers, as soon as I get it so you can visit the sim.

Magic Sky House Idea

I have in my head an idea to build a magic sky house. I'm not sure what a magic sky house actually is except it is 1) in the sky and 2) not like a house in RL therefore a magic house. Yesterday someone named Aarun Carter (see picture) called me and invited me to a platform in the sky. It was sort of empty but looked like one of those plays you see where the actors don't have any set or backdrop and you have to use your imagination.

I meet people who have houses that look like their dream house in RL and some that have a sort of ancient or medieval theme. I would think it would be hard to be perfectly historically correct all the time. But now that I think about it, it would be hard to be perfectly realistic as well.

Well I am so lazy sometimes I don't know if I will build my magic sky house anytime soon, but I'll think about it more. I think I will make in sort of a house from the future and a fantastic past at the same time.

My Friend Franziskus

Now I should say something about my friends in SL. One of the first people I met was Franziskus Ninetails. We were both born about the same time and he told me many things about how to dress and use pose balls and so on. I showed him how I had learned to build buildings and he became very good at it, now he is probably much better than me. Sometimes he has different adventures from mine but we get together every now and then. We have done many things together - once we had a snowball fight, once we went inside a pyramid to look around. Sometimes we have done some things that were not rated G, if you know what I mean. He gets unhappy sometimes about things and I worry about people when they are unhappy. He has become a Neko tiger lately as you can see in this picture from this evening. Well I'll write more later.

Art Opening of Work by Leigh Eel

I recieved an invitation to an art opening from Leigh Eel the other day. It turned out to be a great show and I highly recommend it.

It is located in the Verlaine Cultural Center in Chilipepper (29,162, 23). In the downstairs gallery is BilliArt Burnham - very engaging photography.

Leigh's work is upstairs - ink drawings that you can look at for a long time and study. Drawing is so direct - unlike painting, photography, and so on - you just think it and then you do it. I had a great time.
Well I wanted to put this in my blog. I have so much more to say about other things and hope to get them in here soon.

Hawk Boy Plays Piano

For some reason I have been wearing hawk wings and wanting to fly a lot. Other days I like to turn in to a Neko Boy. I think neko means cat in Japanese. I think humans like to make themselves in to half human forms and have been doing it in all cultures since ancient times.

I read some thing about a group called the Radical Faeries - sort of a gay hippie pagan group. That got me interested in being a fairy (or faerie). In my faerie persona I try to be a healing helpful faerie, not too mischievous. I made some green skin but I am not sure I like to wear it – it makes me look kind of sick.

Last night I wondered around and went to a place called Chiaroscuro. It has some great sky houses that are good for meditation. I was hoping maybe I would meet people and maybe make friends since it seemed like a place that had the same state of mind I had at the time. But no one was there at the time. I saw a grand piano and started playing. I hope the owner doesn't mind my doing that, I really wish I could play like that in RL.

Later I went club dancing. Dancing is fun but it gets confusing trying to chat sometimes. After a while I think I get tired and need to rest.
