Blogs are Diaries Upside Down

Blogs are really funny. When you write in a diary it is secret and you lock it up with a key. But a blog is a diary but you put it out for the whole world to read. It is very strange. Yesterday Franz, Quagmire and I visited Leigh Eel. I took a few pictures and this one, that looks just like an Alfred Hitchcock movie, was the best. We were in Leigh's windmill that he built.

Well some people start blogs and then stop writing after a while. I don't have anything to say today, but I knew a blog post was inside of me somehow. Then I thought that maybe this post is about introducing friends to other friends. Sometimes when you do that you get nervous that one set of friends may not like the other or something like that. But I think it is good to keep generating friends. I just hope my friends list does not explode and cause Linden Labs to catch on fire due to large numbers!

Earlier this week I went to a funeral for Niambraa Lykin in SL. It was a strange idea to have a SL funeral and I am not sure how I feel about the idea. But it was a nice funeral. Here is a picture.

This is the FOURTH time you mentioned me in your blog, so I figured that was a good indication that I should respond...

Very sorry about the suicide. I don't mean to sound callous or anything, because I often don't know if what I have to say is appropriate or not and I get all tongue-tied and stuff, and I think a "my condolences" just isn't enough.so I'm stuck with the bare minimum... My condolences to her friends and family.

What can you say about it.. In my own experience in RL I am very close to a friend who often thinks about suicide, but she has an interesting slant to it.

Since she believes that there is something beyond this mortal realm, death is really just a passing. And she also feels that if someone is suffering a lot in this world, it is his or her own choice to do something definite about it.. and that anyone who forcibly tries to stop her is taking away the only right that she feels she has control over.

I'm not saying i agree with her, but i do think she has a rational, logical, and valid point.
